Must a greeting card be flat and fit in an envelope?

Absolutely not!

I love designing new dimensional cards.  And because I love dimensional cards, they don't always fit in an envelope.

With Cricut Design Space, its is so easy to design a box which is perfectly sized to fit my cards.  I also make the box a bit deeper that what the card requires, to allow me to add a little gift inside. And of course, if you want to add a but of hard cash, the bulk does not have to go into the card.  Just simply place it under the card, and when the receiver lifts the card out, the moola is revealed!

I am in the process of cleaning out all my templates - you know how it goes, you play around and then find what works, and then so exited to start making more, that you have to many hidden items in your project, and never go back to clean it up.  Once I have my template all nice and clean, I will share some of my favourate designs.

Combined with this week’s Cricut Bee themed challenge, my project is dedicated to all the beautiful, strong and creative woman.  I used Permanent Vinyl, cut on my Explore Air 2, using a kerned font, and the Bees are from Design Space.  Because I am not a big fan of yellow, I opted for just black. 

What does Creatrix mean?

A female who brings forth or produces; a mother. A female founder, authoress, creatrix.

 
A Creatrix is a woman who is deeply connected to herself as a Woman and the Feminine Source of Creative power.  She gives rise to desires, gives birth to ideas and life of all kinds.  She dreams Courageously and trust so deeply in the intrinsic co~creative connection she shares with the Divine and the Natural World. She nurtures herself, those around her and the planet. She is the guardian and protector of the magical essence of life.  She understands that without darkness there is no light.  Without the beautiful presence of the masculine in our world there is no wholeness. To be a Master Creatrix she accepts the power of owning her shadow side and being vulnerable is thee superpower of living freely, fully and creatively.
